GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Green Bay police say a total of four officers have been injured, after responding to a downtown disturbance and shots fired at a vehicle that drove into a crowd. 

Police responded to an incident at a food truck near Doty and Washington Streets, shortly after 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12.

As officers were investigating the incident, they say a vehicle drove into a crowd towards bystanders and officers. At that time, an officer is confirmed to have discharged their firearm. 

Police say the vehicle then fled, leading to a brief pursuit with police. No injuries have been reported from the gunfire.

Minutes later, the fleeing vehicle had been stopped without further incident, in the area of North Monroe Avenue and Pine Street, after officers successfully performed a pursuit intervention technique (PIT)

Police took the fleeing driver into custody on suspicion of operating while intoxicated (OWI) with the assistance of the Wisconsin State Patro. 

As a result of the two separate incidents, four officers have reported non-life-threatening injuries. 

The officer who discharged their firearm will be place on administrative leave, per the department's policy.

The Brown County Sheriff's Office will be assisting the GBPD in the OIS portion of the investigations.
