Franklin woman charged with performing sexual acts with dog at Waukesha County kennel

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A criminal complaint has been filed against a 21-year-old Franklin woman who is accused of gaining sexual gratification with an animal. 

Back in July, Waukesha County Sheriff's Deputies were contacted by Cudahy and Oak Creek Police who were investigating a case of child porn and discovered a video of a woman doing sexual acts with a dog. The woman, identified as Allana Smaltz, worked at a dog boarding facility in Sussex that has not been named by authorities.

Smaltz's boyfriend was being investigated for child porn and authorities believe child abuse was involved. After investigators seized the boyfriend's electronic devices they discovered videos of Smaltz performing sexual acts with a "poodle type dog." Authorities uncovered conversations between Smaltz and her boyfriend where he encouraged her to perform the sexual acts with the dog. 

In August, investigators followed-up with the boarding facility where the owner confirmed that Smaltz worked there and that the dog seen in the videos was boarded there at the time the videos were recorded.

In an interview, Smaltz confessed to recording the videos and sending them to her boyfriend.
