MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS58) -- Miller Lite Free Rides will be available on all Milwaukee County Transit bus routes Sunday, December 31, beginning at 8 p.m. until end of service.
Several popular bus routes:
- GreenLine, BlueLine, Routes 14, 15, 19, 21, 27, 30-30X — will have extended service until 4 a.m.
- The GoldLine will extend service to Brookfield Square Mall until 3 a.m.
- Two routes, Routes 14 and 19, will have limited extended service.
- Route 14 will extend its service all the way to 74th and Holmes, and Route 19 will extend service only on S. 13th Street.
"It will take you wherever the stops are so there's no charge," said Jim Kanter, Wisconsin General Manager for Miller Coors. Miller Coors picks up all the costs that are involved in the county transit system for the night."
We have a great partnership with them now over 30 years that we've been able to partner and do other things with and other cities like Chicago and Minneapolis and Phoenix and it's born right here in Milwaukee," Kanter said.
