CBS 58 Sunday Morning regularly highlights the work of innovative and novel small businesses in southeast Wisconsin.
This week, Michael Schlesinger met a former sheet metal worker who is now healthier and happier a few years after taking his life in a new direction. TrueMan McGee took an idea for fresh and healthy food and earned the notice of FedEx, winning a small business contest put on annually by the shipping giant.
Now his small business, Funky Fresh Spring Rolls operates out of the Bay View neighborhood producing market-ready spring rolls with unique flavor combinations to a growing list of area groceries.
