'Bad to the bone': George Thorogood and Foghat to headline Summerfest
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- George Thorogood & The Destroyers will headline the BMO Pavilion with Miller Lite during Summerfest on Friday, June 20 with Foghat as a special guest, the festival announced on Monday, Jan. 13.
Thorogood and his band are known for rock anthems such as "Bad to the Bone," "I Drink Alone" and "Who Do You Love." Over their five-decade career, they have performed more than 8,000 live shows and sold over 15 million albums.
Foghat, famous for hits like "Slow Ride" and "Fool for the City," has released 17 studio albums and remains a staple of classic rock. Their 2023 album, "Sonic Mojo," debuted atop the Billboard Blues Chart.
Tickets for the reserved seating concert will go on sale Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. through Summerfest.com, Ticketmaster.com and the Summerfest Box Office. Prices include same-day admission to Summerfest if purchased in advance.
General admission seating will also be available for Summerfest ticket holders on a first-come, first-served basis.
