Giannis Antetokounmpo passes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the Bucks All-Time leading scorer

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Giannis Antetokounmpo has passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the Milwaukee Bucks all-time leading scorer.

Giannis went into Thursday night's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets with 14,172 career points, with 40 points needed to pass Abdul-Jabbar, who finished his career with 14,211 points.

Giannis drained a three-point shot at the 18-second mark of the fourth quarter, putting him at 42 points on the night against the Nets.

Giannis achieved this at just 27 years old. He is an NBA Champion, two-time league MVP, five-time All-NBA Selection, six-time All-Star, Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player winner and a member of the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team.

This season, Giannis is averaging a career-high 29.9 points as well as 11.6 rebounds per game.
