Girl Scouts celebrate 112th birthday with spirit week and cookie booths

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- You may have seen Girl Scout troops out-and-about this weekend selling Thin Mints and Caramel Delights. The return of cookie booths outside of local businesses in Southeast Wisconsin returned this weekend, just in time for the organizations 112th birthday on Tuesday, March 12. 

Girl Scouts learn lessons of empowerment and leadership through everyday life experiences. 

To celebrate its birthday, troops all over SE Wisconsin are taking part in a spirit week -- spreading kindness and showing their Girl Scout pride.
