MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Before the first playoff game Saturday afternoon, Milwaukee Bucks fans were out in full force "Bucks-ifying" their car at a free event by Schlitz Park downtown.

Drivers got to choose from three different Bucks-themed designs that were then spray-painted in white on their car window, along with small Bucks flags to wave as they rode by.

CBS 58 spoke with fans, many of whom were wearing Bucks merch, who said they are excited to root for their home team.

"The fact that we're still in it and get a chance to be is amazing to every year now, try to get back to it," one fan said. "Very excited, can't wait, hope everything goes really well for them."

Another fan said she was on her way to a Bucks watch party when she saw the event and decided to quickly stop by.

"I saw it and I'm like, oh, that'll be fun!" a fan said. "I hope they can do it."

Others lamented on the previous seasons but ended on an optimistic note.

"Disappointment over the last couple of years but Dame, Giannis, and Kyle Kuzma, we ready to go," a fan said.

The Bucks' mascot, Bango, also made an appearance much to the delight of the participants and even sprayed some designs on cars.

"I've been a fan forever," one fan said. "Bucks in six!"
