MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee and UScellular have launched their seventh annual Black History Month Art Contest featuring unique artwork designed by club members in honor of influential Black figures in STEM fields.
The original pieces of art depict world leaders, scientists and educators who have made remarkable contributions to the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. The submissions will be voted on as part of the annual event.
To offer more details and discuss the benefits of the event, we were joined on Tuesday, Feb. 14 by Larry Gardner of UScellular and Deonte Louis, Vice President of Community Affairs and Engagement with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
Voting can take place by clicking here.
