Green Bay man, 88, killed in two-vehicle crash in Shawano County
SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A two-vehicle accident in Shawano County left an 88-year-old Green Bay man dead.
It happened around 4:36 p.m. on July 31 in the Town of Herman.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a Lincoln Town Car was southbound on CTH U. After stopping at the stop sign at STH 29, the vehicle continued through the intersection and into the path of a Chrysler 200 that was westbound on STH 29 on the left lane.
The Chrysler 200 struck the Lincoln Town Car on the driver side.
The driver of the Lincoln Town Car, an 88-year-old Green Bay man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Chrysler 200, a 21-year-old female from Shawano, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Her passenger was also taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
