MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Harley-Davidson Museum has some special events scheduled in the coming weeks, including Skulloween, the closing of the "My Papi Has a Motorcycle" exhibit and Veterans Day celebrations.
Tim McCormick with the museum joined us on Wednesday, Oct. 30 to offer an in-depth preview.
Skulloween will take place Thursday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the museum’s MOTOR Bar & Restaurant. Attendees can participate in a costume contest, with the winning outfit receiving a $250 museum gift card. The event features food and drink specials, live music by BiG SWiG and other seasonal fun.
The "My Papi Has a Motorcycle" exhibit will close Sunday, Nov. 3. The exhibit showcases artwork from the children’s book by Isabel Quintero and illustrator Zeke Peña, focusing on family bonds and motorcycle rides.
From Saturday, Nov. 9 to Monday, Nov. 11, the museum will host Veterans Appreciation Weekend. Active military members, veterans and their families can enjoy free admission. On Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11, veterans and active military personnel can receive a complimentary meal at MOTOR Bar & Restaurant with the purchase of a beverage.
