Harvest Fair Begins Friday

Harvest Fair kicks off Friday, Sept. 25 at 5 PM at Wisconsin State Fair Park.

Admission is free, parking is $5 and there are several fun harvest-themed activities and entertainment options for the whole family! Many events are free and others require cash or tickets ($1 each).

Several State Fair food and beverage vendors will be open as well. Families can enjoy the All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday until 1 PM. Tickets cost only $7 for adults, $5 for kids age 6-12, and children 5 and under eat free with the purchase of an adult breakfast.

Outdoor activities and attractions span the area around Central Mall, Central Park and The Back 40 (west of the Family Activity Center). Ticketed activities include: Pumpkin Bowling, Scarecrow Making, The Pig Slide, Hayrides, Mini Pumpkin Decorating, Pony and Camel Rides, Amusement Rides, The Kiddie Tractor Maze presented by Fast Track Oil Change Centers, and more.

Families can also enjoy a Pumpkin Patch, Farmers Market, Harvest Shopping and the Pumpkin Derby on Sunday.

In the Family Activity Center (Original Cream Puff Pavilion), kids can “Leaf Their Print” on the Harvest Fair Forest and choose their Harvest Fair Bingo Prizes while adults pick up The Elegant Farmer’s famous pies and breads. Other indoor ticked activities include Caramel Apple Decorating presented by Catalano’s Fresh Produce and Giant Cookie Decorating.

The fair will close at 11 PM Friday, runs from 9 AM to 11 PM Saturday and 9 AM to 5 PM Sunday.
