NOW: Having Warm Thoughts on This Chilly Day
NEXT:

Average highs this time of year have now pushed into the lower 50s. But the last few days Milwaukee has struggled with highs in the 30s and 40s

So let me send some warm thoughts your way. Today's record high is 90 degrees. That's the first 90 of the year in Milwaukee.

As I pour through records, ninety-degree days are possible through late September. But we generally don't feel heat like this until mid June.

We average about ten days in the 90s per year in southern Wisconsin. While we don't have any heat like that in our near future, there are signs warmer temps are coming. Milder 50s and 60s are in store for this weekend. And further down the pike a warming trend builds across the Rockies and heads our way.

Spring will get here..... eventually.
