HAWS receives flight of dogs displaced by Hurricane Florence

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) has received dogs displaced by Hurrican Florence. 

The dogs arrived in Wisconsin Saturday morning and were taken by volunteers from a number of local shelters. The dogs were animals already in shelters impacted by the hurricane and not lost dogs looking for their owners after the hurricane hit. 

The dogs will be available for adoption soon at HAWS, Humane Society of Jefferson County, Lakeshore Humane Society, Elmbrook Humane Society, Washington County Humane Society, Watertown Humane Society, Green County Humane Society, Sheboygan County Humane Society and Wisconsin Humane Society.
