Haze to finally depart and no major heat in sight...yet

Another day with a hazy sky across much of southeastern Wisconsin. This haze is due to all of the wildfires up in Canada. Good news: that smoke/haze aloft will start to diminish as we go through the day today. It will still be there, but not nearly as thick as what it's been.
Take a look, this is how things may be around mid-morning today:
Then, by late this evening, a lot less haze and smoke in the sky:
That trend continues into our Friday as much of (but not all) the haze should be gone:
Now that we are into the month of June, this is the time of year where it can get hot and do so in a hurry. Matter of fact, in just about a week from now we typically have our first day of seeing 90 degrees.
Looking back of the past few years, it's not uncommon at all to see 90s before the middle of June:
For those who are not fans of the big heat, the good news is that it appears we are going to keep highs below 80 for about the next week.
However, don't be surprised to see things quickly heat up toward the end of the month. Summer officially begins in just over two weeks from now! Enjoy this comfortable air while we have it.
