MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The family of the pregnant woman who was found dead Monday, Jan. 5, gathered to mourn.
Gladys Johnson was found dead by her mother after she says her daughter's ex pulled a gun on her, set a fire in Gladys's bedroom and ran.
Family told us Gladys was five months pregnant.
"He took two beautiful lives out of my life," said Gladys's mother, Michelle Johnson. "I don't know where you mama at, but she need to talk to you and get you some prayer."
A family member told us this is her mother's birthday and also the anniversary of when she previously lost two of her sons, making this week's loss so much more painful.
"There's so much chaos and confusion and it's hard because they were in the house with her the whole time and never knew she was in there dead," said Gladys's aunt, Josie Johnson.
Police do have one person in custody. CBS 58 is not naming the person yet, since charges haven't been filed.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office ruled Gladys's death a homicide.
