After a fairly comfortable weekend we are heating up in southeast Wisconsin. Temperatures on Monday are expected to hit 90* on Monday and staying in the low 90s for Tuesday before dropping slightly but still staying hot in the upper half of the 80s through the end of the week.
Along with the increase in heat comes a continued increase in humidity. The weekend was still sticky and it's going to stay that way for the new work week. Dew points on Monday will slowly rise reaching the upper 60s by the evening hours. Tuesday's dew points will stay in the low 70s. The humidity isn't going anywhere with elevated dew points expected to continue for the rest of the week.
The combination of the heat and humidity will push feel like temperatures well into the 90s by Monday afternoon. Tuesday will be even hotter with feel like temps getting into the upper 90s. Probably not enough heat to force a Heat Advisory but still hot enough to pay attention and drink plenty of water.
The heat doesn't just end by the end of this week either. The latest 8-14 day temperature trend shows a 50% chance for above-average temperatures in southern Wisconsin. Through the end of the month Temperatures will likely stay above the average low 80s.
