Homicide Suspect Caught During Traffic Stop

Milwaukee Police arrested a homicide suspect after spotting a Cadillac SRX with an out-of-state license plate that did not list to the vehicle.

According to police release, officers were monitoring an event in the 2200 block of W. Capitol Drive around 5:10 p.m. on April 28 when they saw a Cadillac SRX with an out-of-state license plate that did not list to the vehicle.

The officers conducted a traffic stop and the driver was identified as a 27-year-old man who is a suspect in a homicide.

The man was placed into custody and officers also confiscated more than three grams of cocaine and several cell phones from his vehicle.

The passenger in the car, a 19-year-old man, was arrested for several municipal warrants and Possession of a Controlled Substance-Narcotic.
