Hotel employee accused of stealing victim's credit card information to make various purchases

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A hotel employee in Mount Pleasant has been arrested after police say he used the credit card information from several guests to make various purchases.

Kavellis Hadley, 20, is facing several charges of Felony Personal ID Theft.

According to the criminal complaint, officers were called to the Fairfield Inn, located at 6421 Washington Avenue, for a report of a staff member using the credit card information of several guests.

It happened back in May.

Officers spoke with the hotel manager who said that six guests had reported fraudulent transactions on their credit cards while staying at the hotel or shortly after. Five of those guests were checked in by Hadley.

One victim reported $63.23 worth of food being ordered from Tony Chen's to an address on Packard Drive. Another victim reported a purchase at Topper's Pizza in the amount of $83.30 being ordered on his card and delivered to the same Packard Drive address. That address matched what the hotel had on fire for Hadley.

Other victims said their credit card information was used at Boost Mobile, Applebees, Derangos, PayPal, and Nintendo Digital.
