Hundreds able to receive free dental care during two-day event at State Fair Park
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- About 2,000 low-income adults and kids will be able to receive free dental care as part of two-day event being held at State Fair Park on June 22 and 23.
More than 1,300 volunteer dentists, dental, hygienists and assistants, dental students, and other volunteers from across the state will be on hand for the Wisconsin Dental Association and WDA Foundation Mission of Mercy.
Clinic doors open at 5:30 a.m. on both Friday, June 22 and Saturday, 23. About 1,000 patients will be treated on a first-come, first-serve basis until 5:00 p.m. Thirty-five Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes will also receive care during the event.
The 9th WDA and WDA Foundation Mission of Mercy is happening at the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave in West Allis. Event-goers should enter through Gate 4 off 84th Street and park in the designated lot in the southwest corner of the park.
