MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hundreds of Harleys hit the road on Sunday for a good cause.
Riders gathered at Milwaukee Brewing on N. 9th Street. From there, they were escorted to 894, then to New Berlin, and numerous other stops.
The ride raises funds and awareness for Fisher House Wisconsin -- a home away from home for military members, veterans, and their families at their time of serious health needs.
"Put it this way, people say, why do you do this? Because there are a lot of people that sign on the dotted line that say we've got you, go ahead and lay your head on a pillow at night because we're gonna protect you, this is the least we can do for them," said Bill Michaels, Organizer.
This is the 12th year for the ride.
Michaels says there was 46 riders the first year.
This year there was more than 400 riders.
