MILWAUKEE -- Hunger Task Force is asking the public to pitch in so families in need can have a holiday meal.
With the holidays rapidly approaching, there is concern that the goal of 1,000 hams won’t be met. Right now there are only 65 hams in the Hunger Task Force freezer.
A $15 donation towards a ham can be made online, or hams can be dropped off at the Hunger Task Force office located at 201 S. Hawley Court, just off I-94, west of Miller Park.
A current count of donated hams appears on the I-94 freeway signboard as well as online at through the end of December.
