Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office: investigating road rage incident involving shots fired from a vehicle

OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The sheriff's office says the suspect vehicle involved in the I-43 shooting Saturday was described by the victim as a white, Kia 4-door, unknown model. 

The victim was identified as a 32-year-old man from Caledonia, who has no known connection to the suspect. 

The incident remains under investigation.

OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a road rage incident involving shots fired from a vehicle in the southbound lanes in the Mequon area, around 5 p.m.

The investigation closed a section of I-43 in Ozaukee County for several hours on Saturday, Dec. 16, according to the sheriff's office. 

The lanes reopened at about 8:30 p.m.

According to the sheriff's office, the victim's vehicle was struck several times, however, no one was injured during the incident. 

The suspect vehicle remains at large, and no arrests have been made at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
