Inauguration Day: The new Milwaukee-area lawmakers representing you

CBS 58

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Dozens of lawmakers were sworn into office on Monday, Jan. 6, to kick off a new legislative session.

Inauguration Day included 37 new members taking their oath of office. Of that, six will serve in the Senate, and there will be 31 new faces in the Assembly.

That means there will be some changes in who represents you in Madison.

Many voters will have new representation in the Milwaukee-area and surrounding suburbs.

This legislative session marks a new dynamic at the Capitol with Republicans working with smaller majorities in both chambers after Democrats picked up 15 seats this fall.
