Indulgence Chocolatiers to host 'Halloween Cocktails and Chocolate' pairing events next week
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Indulgence Chocolatiers is putting the BOO in chocolate boutique. From Tuesday, Oct. 24 through Friday, Oct. 27, they're hosting Halloween Cocktail and Chocolate pairing events. Try four chocolates made with unique flavors and complimented by four spooky cocktails.
You can try some flavors that may be new to you, and taste something familiar, too.
"We did a playoff of a classic Halloween candy that you would see, an Almond Joy, so, we make kind of a grown-up version of that," said Julie Waterman, the owner of Indulgence Chocolatiers. "We have a candy corn and peanut bark, because candy corn is very divisive, so, we have to talk about this. But you hear right now that the combo of candy corn and peanuts is delicious."
Waterman's love for chocolate came while backpacking through Europe 16 years ago.
"When I came back here to Milwaukee, I wanted to bring that European chocolate boutique feel to the area," said Waterman. "It can be innovative and fun, and we can have fun with our flavors, and these pairing classes especially allow us to do that.
There will be a virtual class on Saturday, Oct. 28, for those who'd rather participate at home. There are in-person classes Tuesday through Friday in Walker's Point and Brookfield. Tickets can be purchased by calling Indulgence Chocolatiers in Walker's Point.
