Isolated showers possible Tuesday before a drop in temps and humidity

We stayed away from the severe storms on Monday. At one point we had Tornado Watches both to our north and to our southwest but Iowa and central/northern Wisconsin took the brunt of the severe weather. Parts of central Wisconsin were under seven different tornado warnings Monday evening. 

The storm chance all but goes away for Tuesday but a few isolated showers will be possible. The best timing for any rain is around the midday hours through dinnertime. Some could stay all dry and even those that do see rain won't get more than a tenth of an inch. 

After Tuesday's rain chance we look to stay all dry for Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately, drought conditions will likely worsen for most of the state as July so far is one of the driest on record. 

Even though some wildfire smoke has tried to roll in Monday night, most of that smoke is staying away from the surface so we are actually at good air quality index values Tuesday morning. We could see some smoky haze here and there the next few days but no concerning areas of smoke are expected to impact us the next few days. 

Temperatures will stay warm on Tuesday in the lower half of the 80s. We have one cool day this week on Wednesday with highs only in the 70s then we warm back up to 80 for the end of the work week. Another round of heat is on the way for the weekend with highs in the mid 80s Saturday and up to 90 on Sunday. 

Humidity levels will stay high to start Tuesday but start to come down in the evening hours. Very low humidity is on tap for Wednesday and Thursday with dew points in the low 50s. More humidity will return for the weekend.
