'It's not unusual': Tom Jones bringing 'Come Gather Round Tour' to Miller High Life Theatre on Sept. 20
Pabst Theater Group MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Sir Tom Jones, the Welsh singer whose career has stretched more than six decades, is coming to Miller High Life Theatre on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Jones, now 85, broke through in the early 1960s. His run of hits from that era, such as "It's Not Unusual," "What's New Pussycat?," "Delilah" and "Green, Green Grass of Home" among them, made him a household name. He has sold more than 100 million records over his career, according to his management.
He has recorded with Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Dolly Parton, Van Morrison and Ed Sheeran, among others.
Queen Elizabeth II knighted him in 2006. In 2021, his album "Surrounded by Time" made him the oldest male artist to reach No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart with an album of new material, surpassing Bob Dylan, according to the announcement.
