MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We often see them at the end of January, and this year is no exception. A January thaw is on its way. Lots of 30s and 40s this week after highs in the 20s on Sunday. The wind for the end of the weekend will make it feel like the teens during the day. I don't see a big cool down coming anytime soon. Hopefully we are done with the bitterly cold air for a while. In terms of precipitation, there's a chance for some light snow shower activity Monday afternoon mainly along and north of I-94 as a clipper starts to drop down from the north. Don't look for anything big in terms of accumulation. There looks to be a more impressive system for next weekend, especially on Saturday. That one features rain or a mix as it stands now. Stay tuned.
