MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- CBS 58's Sports Director Lance Allan caught up with PGA Champions Tour Golfer Jerry Kelly.
There's a new duos format at the American Family Insurance Championship tournament this year. The Champions Tour event will be held at TPC Wisconsin on the north side of Madison with play from Friday, June 6 through Sunday, June 8. 2026 could see the return of Tiger Woods to Wisconsin after he turns 50 later this year and when he's eligible for the Champions Tour, as well as this event.
As for this year? Jerry won't pair with buddy Steve Stricker. Instead, Stricker will team with brother-in-law Mario Tiziani.
"Strick is gonna have to keep it in the family buddy," said Kelly. "We talked; we talked about it. I totally understand his situation. So, nope, it's not gonna happen. And then for some reason, I think Tiger might be his partner at some point. So, we'll see where that one goes as well. So, I think there's a bright future for that tournament."
