NEW YORK (CBS 58) -- One Wisconsin Dells business is making a big splash in New York City and CBS 58 got an up-close look!
"So, we collaborate with Macy's on the design. It's inspired by African art and our love for water," said Aubrey Williams, spokesperson for Kalahari Resorts. "And the float is built and brought here to the streets of New York City."
Williams spoke with CBS 58 from the ground level of the 99th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Kalahari Resorts celebrated 25 years with the return of its 'Colossal Wave of Wonder' float.
This marks their eighth appearance in the parade and William's first!
"Well, this is my first year to be here with Kalahari and it's just so exciting," said Williams. "The energy is so amazing and it, we know it's a great tradition that millions of families get to celebrate together and it's just really special to be first time."
The float is 24 feet six inches and features interactive details, including an elephant that blows steam!
