Kalahari Resorts and Conventions announces $76M waterpark expansion in Wisconsin Dells

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kalahari Resorts and Conventions in Wisconsin Dells announced they are expanding their waterpark.

According to a post on Facebook, the $76 million project will include a 75,000-square-foot indoor waterpark expansion. The glass-enclosed, open-air waterpark will feature three new water slides, two six-person raft slides the "Wild Wildebeest" and "Green Python," as well as a four-lane racing slide called "Cheetah Mat Racers."

The new space will also include a "Lost Lagoon Spa Pool," and "Watering Hole Pool" with zero-depth entry and tanning ledges.

Younger kids will be able to enjoy the "Coral Cove Kiddie Slide Pool," while adults can relax at "The Grotto" -- a swim-up bar.

"We're beyond excited to share these new adventures with you," Kalahari Resorts and Conventions said in the Facebook post.

No word yet on when the project will get started or when it will be completed.
