Health expert weighs in on wildfire smoke and your health
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--It seems Mother Nature wants us to experience the summer season too (after a lot of requests from a lot of people!) Our comfortable 70s will soon be traded for temperatures well into the 90s, and this doesn't include the humidity. In fact, the heat indices will easily exceed 100 degrees. Don't be surprised if we have a few heat advisories issued as well. In the meantime, enjoy the comfortable readings as well through Saturday. Sunday is transition day with temperatures in the 80s. We do run the risk for a few showers and thunder showers both Thursday and Friday, especially with daytime heating. The atmosphere is ripe for a little activity each and every day. Severe weather isn't anticipated. The big dome of heat dome of high pressure will keep rain away much of next week as well although it looks a bit stormier into the holiday weekend. Of course, that's more than a week away. So plenty of forecasting between now and then.
Just look what's coming...
