Kenosha County inmate dies after being found unresponsive in cell

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Kenosha County inmate died after being found unresponsive in his jail cell. 

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department says on Jan. 1, 25-year-old Reighnn Post-McNab was discovered unresponsive in his jail cell by a correctional officer at the downtown pre-trial facility. CPR was initiated as rescue was called, however, Post-McNab remained unresponsive.

Post-McNab was taken to Froedtert South where he was pronounced dead from medical causes.

Post-McNab had been in the custody of the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department since June 22, 2021 and was being held on felony and misdemeanor charges as well as a probation hold. 

The Racine County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
