Kenosha County man arrested after authorities seize drugs, 23 dogs from home
KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Kenosha County man was taken into custody Friday, Feb. 24 after authorities allegedly found drugs and a suspected illegal breeding operation at his residence.
Law enforcement executed a search warrant at the home near 68th Street and 14th Avenue around 9 a.m.
Officials seized over $2,500 in U.S. currency, 883.5 grams of THC/marijuana, 3/5 grams of cocaine and .7 grams of heroin.
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department, 23 dogs were located during the search and turned over to officers for transportation to Safe Harbor Humane Society.
The sheriff's department says it is believed that an illegal breeding operation was occurring in the home based on the number of dogs and puppies.
The suspect, identified as Tyrone Price Sr., was booked in Kenosha County Jail on the following charges:
- Possess w/ intent to deliver marijuana
- Possession of cocaine
- Possession of heroin
- Maintaining a drug house
