Kenosha County Medical Examiner says three died of suspected overdoses in one day

Three victims died of suspected overdoses in Kenosha County on Saturday, the Kenosha County Medical Examiner said. The three deceased individuals were believed to have used cocaine or heroin.

The Medical Examiner says three fatal overdoses in one day is very unusual. In 2018, the Kenosha County Medical Examiner processed 46 deaths due to toxicity -- an average of less than one case per week.

The three individuals who died on Saturday ranged in age from 20s to 50s, two were men and one was a woman.

Kenosha County wants to let residents know that they are continuing to fight the opioid epidemic and are making Narcan training and supplies available to anyone in the community free of charge.
