Kenosha County Sheriff's Department begins fundraising campaign for K-9 Unit

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department is looking for funding for their K-9 unit. 

Deputies brought many of their K-9's to the Kenosha County Board meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 21. 

The sheriff's office is looking for funds to help replace K9 Riggs after his retirement. 

The resolution presented to the board asked for approval for the fundraiser. It was unanimously approved.
