Kenosha man arrested for 7th OWI following crash
WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Kenosha man was arrested Sunday morning, Oct. 2, for his 7th Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) offense following a single-vehicle crash.
Authorities say the driver, 49-year-old Richard A Wilkerson of Kenosha, crashed and rolled his vehicle around 9:43 a.m. Sunday.
Responding authorities say the incident occurred near 12600 block of CTH K.
The Wisconsin State Patrol Waukesha Post observed signs of impairment from Wilkerson and conducted a sobriety test.
Following the test, Wilkerson was subsequently arrested for his 7th offense of OWI.
Officials add that Wilkerson was also charged with felony possession of Heroin, drug paraphernalia, multiple counts of bail jumping and other municipal charges.
Reports indicate that Wilkerson will be transported to the Kenosha County jail.
