MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — While much of Milwaukee's attention is focused on the Brewers and the World Series, Wisconsin voters are also less than two weeks away from Election Day.

On Friday, Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Crowley's campaign brought some Hollywood star power to Milwaukee as actress Kerry Washington joined Crowley's wife, Ericka, for a Women for Crowley rally.

The event was part of the campaign's final push ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.

Washington is no stranger to the world of politics, both on and off screen.

She starred as political fixer Olivia Pope in the hit television drama "Scandal," which ran for seven seasons from 2012 to 2018.

Washington and Ericka Crowley spoke to supporters at Friday's event as the campaign works to mobilize voters heading into the final days of the governor's race.
