GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kids got to feel like they were on the green and gold Sunday, June 14, as the Packers' star linebacker Micah Parsons gave them tips on how to run the ball.
Parsons teamed up with FlexWork Sports to give kids a way to train, sharpen their skills on the grid-iron and learn valuable lessons of sportsmanship both on and off the field.
Organizers told CBS 58 it's a great way for players to get into the community, get involved and bring some excitement to the kids' weekends.
"I think everybody has fun; I think everybody really enjoys it. Kids get to come out here and get better on a Sunday afternoon. It's just a great time," said Jack Bishop, director of operations at FlexWork Sports.
FlexWork Sports is hosting more events like this one, including one at Whitnall High School in Greenfield with Packers wide receiver Christian Watson next weekend.
