Racine students take pledge against gun violence
September has been off to a very warm start! Through 19 days of the month over half of them have been in the 80s! So far Milwaukee has felt 11 days at or above 80* which is almost double the average 6 days during the month in the 80s or warmer. In fact, we're only 3 days away from tying the record of days at/above 80* set in 1947.
Tuesday's highs will likely be day number 12 in the 80s with highs reaching the low 80s. Wednesday is still above-average but not quite reaching the 80s with highs in the upper 70s before a real nice fall feel arrives for the end of the week and start to fall.
In addition to a warm Tuesday the dew point will be very high. Dew points will surpass 70* for a very tropical feel. Thankfully the humidity is very short lived with humidity dropping throughout the day Wednesday but still noticeable in the morning. By Thursday the humidity is below the charts for the first time in a few months.
