MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Local leaders highlighted potential opportunities on Wednesday, for businesses and people living in Milwaukee during the Democratic National Convention.
The event was held in the Granville neighborhood and hosted by the Office of Small Business Development.
It featured a presentation and gave updates on diverse business opportunities from members of the DNC 2020 host committee.
"If you're a small business or a business owner of any size and you want to capitalize on the $500 million that's going to be coming into Milwaukee next year, this was the event for you," said Ald. Chantia Lewis. "But don't fret, this isn't the only one that will be happening."
The Democratic National Convention will be held July 13-16 in Milwaukee.
