Local brewery wants to give you a prom re-do with 'Millennial Beer Prom' event

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Did your prom suck? Well, New Barons Brewing Cooperative is giving you a re-do. On Saturday, May 25, they're hosting Millennial Beer Prom with a DJ playing songs from the 2000's and awkward prom photos in the brewery. 

"High school wasn’t that fun for a lot of people," said Heidi Dalibor. "We thought, let’s do a fun version. We'll bring some beer. We’ve got some 2000's throwbacks, and it is geared towards millennials, so you’ll hear a lot of familiar favorites. We’ve got a taco truck coming, and we encourage people to dress up." 

It goes from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. so that you can still be in bed by 9 p.m., according to Dalibor.
