MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local company is working to give back to a nonprofit that's supporting the community during COVID-19.
Unilever Food Solutions delivered lunches to Feeding America employees in Milwaukee Thursday, July 30.
Around 60 volunteers received meals from Unilever Food Solutions, courtesy of Cafe Corazon in Milwaukee.
Unilever has kicked off a nationwide initiative called United for America, to supply box lunches to Feeding America's 11,000 employees at 200 of their food banks.
"We have to be more aware of the food insecure and the people struggling. And so to recognize the people who are on the front lines working hard, making sure these people are being fed I think is something people should be doing across the country."
Feeding America has reported a 94 percent increase in clients who are in need of their food bank.
