Local leaders react to shots fired at Trump rally in Pennsylvania

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Local leaders are reacting to shots fired at a Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania, where Trump was injured, on Saturday, July 13.

CBS 58 spoke with Republican Congressman Glenn Grothman, who hadn't seen the video until we showed it to him.

"Looking at the video, it's a miracle he survived, right? I mean, if he was hit in the ear but wasn't hit in the forehead or something, it's just a couple inches between a successful murder," said Grothman.

Governor Tony Evers posted his thoughts on X.

Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson released a statement regarding the incident.
