Local Middle School Students Dealing with Scabies

A local school is dealing with a scabies outbreak.
Cudahy Middle School sent home a letter to parents saying several children have been diagnosed with the skin irritation.
Those students have been asked to stay home until a day after receiving treatment.
Scabies is a burrowing mite that causes skin rashes, irritation and itching.
It's contagious and spreads by person-to-person contact.
