Milwaukee County Zoo previews spring break activities
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin has the chance to become a national leader when it comes to digital technology.
So says County Executive Chris Abele who joined other political and business leaders at a conference on Milwaukee's digital future.
Foxconn is coming, Amazon wants to expand, and Abele says tech-savvy projects like that give the state a big window of opportunity.
"There's always an advantage to being the first in market to anything. And if you're the first to show the rest of the country to show, hey, we can make this work, that will attract a lot more businesses, hey you know we don't want to wait for these other states to figure it out, we want to go where they're already nailing it," Abele said.
Racine Mayor Cory Mason also participated in the conference.
