MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Lou Malnati's is donating $1 for every heart-shaped pizza or Make-A-Wish bundle sold this month to help grant wishes for children facing critical illnesses.
More than 400 Wisconsin children are currently waiting for their wishes to be granted, according to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. Among them is Kennedy, an 8-year-old from Pewaukee with a heart condition, who will travel to Japan in May for his wish trip.
Matt Roman Lopez of Lou Malnati's, Forrest Doolen of Make-A-Wish Wisconsin and Kennedy's mom, Christa Yang, joined CBS 58 on Tuesday, Feb. 24 to share more about the campaign.
Heart-shaped pizzas are available for dine-in, carryout and delivery.
