CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Cudahy Fire Department says they responded to reports of smoke on the third and fourth floors of the Patrick Cudahy Plant shortly before 7:30 a.m. on Sat. Jan. 4th. 

Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from an operating machinery on the fourth floor. 

Officials say the fire was contained by the sprinkler system and fully extinguished by firefighting crews.

Fire damage was minor and confined to the machinery. 

One person was transported to the hospital with minor smoke inhalation. 

The fire department says the incident had little impact on plant operations.
