FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- You can easily turn your house into a science lab for your kids this summer. The folks at Mad Science in Franklin have some ideas with just a few simple household items, including straws, balloons, water, and a bottle. If you love weather, you can make your own barometer to measure pressure. Or you can create your own hovercraft with some used CDs. Whatever it takes to make it fun and memorable.
One of our favorite Mad Scientists, "Dr. Coco," says these experiments are real world. They teach how science is applied in real life.
"Mad Science" has a lot of easy experiments online beside hosting actual science parties in person. They also offer weekly Facebook Live sessions. If you're interested in learning more about what this "science enrichment center" provides, just click here.
