MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) kicked off their Get the Fur Out adoption promotion Monday, April 17.
Any dogs not marked "preselect" at the shelter will have adoption fees waived Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
MADACC says the promotion will go until further notice and it only applies on weekdays.
They say they are currently "overflowing with dogs" and intakes are not slowing down.
For Milwaukee County adopters, a $12 licensing fee applies.
